Cambridge Markets presents The Ultimate Winter Market EQ

The Entertainment Quarter will come alive on Sunday August 28 when Cambridge Markets hosts the Ultimate Winter Market EQ at the precinct from 9am-5pm. The Ultimate Winter Market EQ will be a cool-weather bonanza of fashion, food, homewares, art, craft and more.
The 150+ stall event at The EQ, will continue the tradition of great outdoor activations for Cambridge Markets, which has a program of markets across Sydney running all year. The market will feature Cambridge Markets’ usual mix of great small businesses offering goods across homewares, fashion, world food, art, pets, craft, jewellery, photography, toys and plenty more.
“We are excited to present this excellent market at EQ,” says market operator Madelienne Anderson. “Our Ultimate Autumn Market EQ, held in May, was a fantastic success and we expect the Ultimate Winter Market EQ to be just as good. It will be so great to see so many Sydneysiders out enjoying the dry sunny weather and supporting small businesses.”
The market will be part of a huge weekend in the Moore Park precinct, with the reopening of the new Allianz Stadium (Sydney Football Stadium) on the same weekend. The stadium’s open day will be held on Sunday August 28, making it a busy day in the neighbourhood.
“This will be a brilliant day for the Eastern Suburbs,” Anderson said. “It has been four years since Allianz Stadium was last operational, so the people of Sydney are in for a treat to see it.
“They can visit the stadium, then come over to the markets for some fantastic world food for lunch, or coffee and cake, and do some boutique shopping with our retailers. We have worked really hard to present our usual range of top-shelf small retailers who bring such a dynamic range of things to the market. There really is something for everyone at this event.”
“Plus of course there’s plenty of room for all the family, with the Showring adjacent to the markets, a great space for kids of all ages to run around and enjoy some open space.”
Stallholders at the Winter event include local artists and makers such as Brontë Goodison, Shire Succulents, Bowerbird Jewels, Verve Candles, Merchants of Nonsense, Stacey and Hawke and Venetia Elaine, as well as food and beverage operators Buffalo Vale distillery, Savannah Estate winery, Finders Distillery, Thicc Cookies, Cakes by Emma, Berliner donuts, the Street Food Project, Mojo Picon and Brooklyn Boy Bagels.
The market operator also runs the bi-weekly market at The Entertainment Quarter on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am-2pm.
