The Showring is a historic and versatile open-air venue located within The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney.
Established in 1924, it has been a central part of Sydney’s entertainment landscape, hosting a wide array of events including concerts, theatrical productions, festivals, sporting events, and community gatherings.
The Showring is the heart of EQ.
Once home to the Royal Easter Show, this 22,000sqm grasses live performance and level event space can be used in many different ways.
Whether you are looking to utilise the whole space or just a section, your needs can be tailored. We can scale up and scale down the site to suit your next event.
Cafes and restaurants surround this space as well as power and access to public toilets.
Family days, festivals, exhibitions, cocktail parties, banquets, product launches, team building activities, pre-movie functions, markets, charity events, film and photography shoots.
The Showring has hosted a diverse range of events, from Cirque du Soleil performances to music festivals and community markets.
It serves as the venue for the EQ Markets, held every Wednesday and Saturday, offering fresh produce, gourmet foods, and artisan products.
The Showring has been used for many amazing events across the years – including recent concerts like Fatboy Slim, Ministry of Sound Classical and Cold Chisel.
Also has been the location of amazing experiences like Cirque Du Soleil, The Sydney Family Show, Van Gogh Alive and The Sydney Spiegeltent.

Public Transport: The venue is accessible via public transport, with nearby bus routes and the Moore Park light rail stop providing convenient options for visitors.
The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. The maximum height clearance for the car park is 2.1 metres.
