Sydney Fringe Festival returns to the EQ with Fool’s Paradise and Fringe Kids

 

Step into Fool’s Paradise, a dazzling destination curated by the award-winning Head First Acrobats. Spanning two electric circus domes at The Entertainment Quarter, this program of Fringe favourites showcases the best in circus, burlesque, and variety. Get ready for jaw-dropping stunts, glittering performances and unforgettable energy every night. From gravity-defying feats to after-dark delights, Fool’s Paradise is where Fringe dreams take flight. Bold, brilliant and bursting with personality, this is your ultimate night out at the Sydney Fringe Festival.
Fringe Kids lights up with family-friendly shows across the Festival, then doubles the fun with a dedicated two-week program during the October school holidays! With events at The Entertainment Quarter and beyond, little Fringers can enjoy music, magic, bubbles, science and more. Filled with giggles and gasp-worthy moments, Fringe Kids is your go-to destination for big imaginations, curious minds and unforgettable memories.
Tap into the rich arts and culture history of the Eastern Precinct. Enjoy diverse programming in theatre, music, and queer work.

There are so many shows on across the month of Fringe (37 to be exact) so there is something for EVERYONE!! 
  • 50-up Circus: Retro TV Spectacular!: Ageless Aerialists. Classic TV Vibes. Get ready to change the channel on what you thought was possible after 50.
  • A Bee Story: A narrative circus show for children and families. “A Bee Story” brings together elements of circus, acrobatics, dance and live music
  • A One Man Circus: The absolutely hilarious multi-award winning performer, Morgan James has the crowd in stitches with his magnetic larrikin personality, random wit and skilful circus acts
  • A sign of the times: ‘A sign of the times’ is a contemporary circus performance, navigating current societal norms and constructs. Everything from hustle culture, disconnect from nature, online dating, gender equality and generation wars.
  • Absolute Trash: Join us for an iconic and ironic celebration of all things garbage!
  • Academy of Magic: Did you miss out on your letter from Hogwarts this year? Fret not, because there’s a magical opportunity waiting for you!
  • Adults Only Magic Show: The Adults Only Magic Show is an unapologetically wild ride of raunchy comedy, jaw-dropping illusions and a generous helping of skin.

  • Apocalypse: Every act burns. A fire-only show where flame rules the stage – raw, rebellious, unforgettable.

  • Burlesque with Evana De Lune: Award-winning burlesque star Evana De Lune returns with a dazzling, high-glamour spectacle of striptease, wit, and seduction.
  • Camp Culture: A fun, fabulous circus adventure led by Faboriginal superstar Dale Woodbridge Brown.
  • CIRCUS – The Show: Flipping back into town following a stellar sell-out season in 2024, CIRCUS features world-class illusions, tumbling acrobats, highly skilled jugglers, breath-taking and elegant aerialists and so much more!
  • Circus & Other Time Wasters!: This show will take you from juggling and musical comedy to circus stunts and cartoon-esque ridiculousness
  • Disco Peeps Party Walks: A roaming silent disco party where you dance through the streets with headphones on. Led by a hype host, it’s joyful, ridiculous and unexpectedly unforgettable.
  • Disco Peeps Party Walks – Fringe Kids: Dance, laugh, and follow your disco host through the Entertainment Quarter in this interactive, feel-good show made for mini movers and groovers.
  • DIY Private Eye: A Scan & Solve Mystery: Play Private Eye before you see a show. Just scan & solve the mystery in 20 minutes or less. This is a free activity.
  • Dizzy’s Ultimate 80s Party Gameshow: Unleash your party animal, throw on your 80’s fancy dress, and dive into the most outrageous gameshow ever created.
  • Elixir Revived: This is Cirque du Soleil meets Magic Mike in a wild, post-apocalyptic circus comedy packed with jaw-dropping stunts, irreverent humour, and world-class acrobatics.
  • Grounded: Rewired: Suddenly grounded and buzzing with restless energy, a spark of mischief ignites a whirlwind of movement, mischief and momentum.
  • Journal of the Forest: Come follow our traveller for a Mythical Adventure, This circus cabaret show will be a fun outing for the whole family to enjoy!
  • KABOOM!: Chaotic mayhem abounds in this stunningly stylish S.T.E.M. show with 10 times the spectacle and 20,000 times the voltage of the science classes at school!
  • Lash Out: The Fiercest cabaret in the Sydney Fringe. Electrifying circus acts, devilish dance and the raucous comedic stylings of Burlesque superstar Memphis Mae.
  • Monski Mouse’s Baby Disco Dance Hall: Join DJ Monski Mouse and her dancers for this multi award-nominated, epic session of bopping, bonkers, beautiful fun.
  • Selene and the Strange x Nocturnal Creatures: a indie rock circus spectacular: A live music and acrobatic experience, combining dreamy, electronic indie music with silky aerial acrobatics.
  • Something Wicked: Something Wicked weaves burlesque, ritual, and cabaret into a spellbinding fever dream of feminine power, beauty, and delicious ruin.
  • SwashBuckling Circus: Prepare to set sail on a laugh-filled voyage of acrobatic amazement and rib-tickling fun. This isn’t your ordinary circus – it’s a pirate extravaganza where the seven seas meet side-splitting comedy and high-flying feats.
  • Teardrops on My Dildo 2: Lube Me Alone: Expect more dating stories (or lack-of-dating stories), more about parenting and anatomy awareness, and more things that should never be said out loud!
  • The Flying Bubble Show: A meditative bubble performance blending circus, storytelling, sound, and sculpture.
  • The Gagliardies: A laugh-out-loud extravaganza of comedy, circus silliness, and clowning mischief.

The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. The maximum height clearance for the car park is 2.1 metres.
