Sabaton – Live from The Hordern
For over 25 years SABATON have cultivated a formidable reputation, headlining major festivals, snaring significant chart success, ticking off sold out arena concerts across the globe, and amassing a legion of fans worldwide via their surging riffs, commanding vocals, and songs detailing real-life wars and historic battles.
Widely regarded as one of the hardest-working bands in the business and a major fixture in the European metal scene, SABATON have released 10 studio albums to date, with eight LPs landing Top 10 international chart status, six claiming Top 5, and some certified Gold (2010’s Coat of Arms, 2014’s Heroes, 2016’s The Last Stand, 2019’s The Great War) and Quadruple Platinum (2012’s Carolus Rex) in their motherland.
Along with their ongoing triumphs over the years, SABATON are equally a force to be reckoned with in a live setting, with their infamous performances often including elaborate props and effects to thrust you mind, body and spirit into the immersive storytelling and compelling stage presence on display.
From detailing events of World War I and other historical conflicts, through to hosting and staging their own annual three-day festival Sabaton Open Air, touring with Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, and accumulating over 3 billion streams, SABATON most recently blew Aussie fans away onstage at Good Things Festival in 2022; and 2025 is primed for a jaw-dropping headline extravaganza from these Swedish metal warriors.
Powerful, unpredictable and resoundingly uplifting, Sweden’s AMARANTHE have been weaving their heavy sorcery for over 15 years. Searing a trail for a modern metal revolution, AMARANTHE have released seven full length albums throughout their career, with their 2016 breakout album Maximalism scoring them a nomination for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal at the Grammis, Sweden’s answer to the Grammys, while their most recent LP, 2024’s The Catalyst, embraced djent, synths and potent vocal interplay between Elize Ryd, Nils Molin and Mikael Sehlin. Gifted heavy alchemists well versed in fusing everything from pop rock through to death metal into their sonic brew, AMARANTHE have previously toured with Epica and Dragonforce and eruped festival stages across the globe, and the Swedish collective will be back this year to continue their Australian domination witnessed last year when they ticked off their debut down under tour.

The Entertainment Quarter is only a 5 minute walk from the Moore Park Light rail stop, on a bus line and it also has its own 6 story carpark should you wish to drive and park with 2 hours free!
LIGHT RAIL
There will be additional Light Rail services available post-event to ensure a smooth departure.
The Light Rail (Moore Park) is a 5-minute walk from the event.
TRAIN
Central Station is a 15-minute walk from the event.
TAXI & RIDE SHARE
Driver Avenue will be closed for the duration of the event.
The best location for taxi drop off/pick up will be Errol Flynn Boulevard.

Accessible parking is available at the Wilson carpark.
The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. It’s perfect for your next visit to EQ, a game or a live event at the Sydney Cricket Ground or Allianz Stadium, a gig at The Hordern, or Liberty Hall or a fun night out at one of our great restaurants and bars.
