Thrown return to Australia for their biggest Australian headline tour to date, following the Swedish metalcore phenomenon’s completely sold-out February 2025 headline tour. The Stockholm band will be joined by special guests Boundaries, 156/Silence and Australia’s own Volatile Ways, bringing an explosive metalcore lineup to Liberty Hall, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney.

Since emerging from Stockholm, Thrown have established themselves as one of the fastest-rising forces in modern heavy music. Extensive touring alongside Knocked Loose, Counterparts, Fit For A King, While She Sleeps, Wage War and many more has cemented their reputation as one of metalcore’s most explosive live bands.
Today, Thrown continue their meteoric rise with well over one million monthly Spotify listeners and hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.
Thrown recently released “critic”, a ferocious new single via Arising Empire. Sharp-tongued, crushingly heavy and unapologetically confrontational, the track takes aim at self-appointed tastemakers, performative outrage and the endless cycle of online commentary.
Fuelled by venomous vocals, bone-crushing grooves and explosive breakdowns, “critic” delivers a ruthless response to a culture obsessed with opinions, metrics and manufactured controversy.
Joining Thrown are Connecticut metalcore group Boundaries, who arrive following the release of their new album Yearning: the unbeautiful after. Recorded with producer Drew Fulk, known for work with Knocked Loose and Fit For A King, the 14-track album captures Boundaries at their most punishing, deliberate and focused. The album also features guest appearances from The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers and Make Them Suffer.

Pittsburgh’s 156/Silence will make their Australian debut, bringing their intense, foreboding and haunting music to the tour. Their songs are cinematic, blending brutality with intellect and drawing on real and imagined terror, woven into melody and power.
The band will release their sixth studio album, From A Distance, on 4 September 2026 through Pure Noise Records.

Rounding out the bill is Newcastle’s Volatile Ways, bringing their hard mosh deathcore made by hardcore kids. Their playful disposition and unmatched energy radiate through their live shows, while their multifaceted approach brings brutality to the forefront.
Volatile Ways have shared stages with The Acacia Strain, Fit For An Autopsy, Bodysnatcher, Kublai Khan, Thrown, Dying Wish and Speed, among others.

Book your tickets to see Thrown, Boundaries, 156/Silence and Volatile Ways at Liberty Hall, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, and experience this explosive metalcore lineup live.
