The Fray return in February 2027 as part of the Summer of Light Tour, bringing the multi-platinum alternative rock icons back to Australia following their massive six-date sold-out Australian tour in 2025. The Fray will perform at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, with special guests Dashboard Confessional and Rachael Fahim.
Proudly presented by TEG Live and TEG MJR, the Summer of Light Tour will mark another chapter in The Fray’s connection with Australian audiences. It will also be the first time the band brings the tour to New Zealand.
Known for songs that have become generation-defining anthems, The Fray have built a lasting place in alternative rock with hits including “How to Save a Life” and “Over My Head (Cable Car)”. The band have also received four GRAMMY® Award nominations, further highlighting their impact and enduring appeal.
The Summer of Light Tour will see The Fray deliver an incredible setlist featuring timeless anthems alongside brand-new music. Following their sold-out Australian tour in 2025, the band’s return down under in February 2027 gives audiences another opportunity to experience their music live.
For Australian fans, the tour follows the success of The Fray’s six-date sold-out run in 2025. Their 2027 return will also expand the tour to New Zealand for the first time ever.

Joining The Fray on the Summer of Light Tour are special guests Dashboard Confessional and Rachael Fahim. Dashboard Confessional will join the tour except for the Wollongong date, while Rachael Fahim will also appear as a special guest.

For Sydney audiences, the tour arrives at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, giving fans the chance to experience The Fray’s timeless anthems and brand-new music as they return down under.
