With a history spanning 17 studio albums, eight live releases, eight side projects and multiple touring campaigns across five continents, Jourgensen has built a formidable legacy with Ministry. Along the way came an autobiography, two documentaries, the administration of last rites no less than three times, and countless devoted acolytes and fans.
Now, the story reaches its final chapter with one last sonic salvo: the final Ministry LP, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery).
Ministry brings Hate To Go to Liberty Hall
Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery) enters the world on 30 October via Cleopatra Records. The album features pointed commentaries, the return of longtime associate Paul Barker and adventures in AI, all delivered with the whiplash urgency that listeners have come to recognise, respect and break the occasional bone over.
Before the tour bus makes its final journey back to Jourgensen’s house, there is plenty to share from Hate To Go. Ministry will also release four videos: “We Hate”, “Singularity”, “Burned Out” and “Crickets”.
The album represents the final Ministry LP and another chapter in Al Jourgensen’s long-running creative journey.
Ministry and Al Jourgensen’s final sonic salvo
Jourgensen’s work with Ministry has been built over decades, with the band’s history spanning studio albums, live releases, side projects and touring campaigns across the globe.
For the final Ministry LP, Hate To Go, that history comes together with the return of longtime associate Paul Barker and a collection that promises the pointed commentary and sonic urgency associated with Ministry.
The 2027 touring campaign is described as Ministry’s largest ever, extending across most of the year. But before that campaign begins, Sydney audiences can experience Ministry at Liberty Hall as part of the band’s final chapter.
The message is directed towards headbangers, rivetheads, goths, post-punks and casual listeners alike.
