Max McNown is part of the 2027 Slow Down, Down Under Australian headline tour, with the acclaimed artist returning to Australia for his biggest headline run yet. McNown will perform at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, on Wednesday 10 February as part of his 2027 Australia & New Zealand tour.
The tour will also preview McNown’s highly anticipated third studio album, Leave On A Light, due September 25 via Fugitive Recordings.
Following a meteoric rise, McNown has now racked up more than 900 million worldwide streams, achieved multiple RIAA certifications and previously sold out an Australian tour. His return in February 2027 will bring his acclaimed live show back to fans across the country, with the Australian tour presented by Live Nation.
The 2027 Slow Down, Down Under tour represents McNown’s biggest Australian headline run yet. His return follows the success of his previous sold-out Australian tour and comes alongside the preview of his upcoming third studio album, Leave On A Light.
With more than 900 million worldwide streams and multiple RIAA certifications behind him, McNown has experienced a rapid rise that has established him as an artist with a growing international audience.
The Sydney show is one of several Australian stops on the 2027 tour. The Australia and New Zealand run begins with Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Thursday 4 February, followed by Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 6 February. McNown then heads to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Wednesday 10 February.

The Australian dates continue with Newcastle’s Howlin’ Rock N Rodeo on Saturday 13 February, Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Thursday 18 February and Fred Moule Pavilion in Cairns on Saturday 20 February.
After the Australian dates, the tour crosses to New Zealand, with McNown scheduled to perform at Auckland’s The Civic on Monday 22 February and Christchurch Town Hall on Wednesday 24 February.
