Kasabian is set to bring the UK alt-rockers’ distinctive electro-indie-rock sound to Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, on 2 March 2027. As part of their Nothing Better Than This tour, the band will return to Australia following the release of their latest album, Act III, which secured their eighth UK number-one album.
Known for their electrifying live performances, infectious energy and guitar-driven anthems, Kasabian have built a reputation as a formidable live act. Their Australian return will feature a career-spanning set, bringing together much-loved classics and the band’s distinctive musical style.
Following a recent performance to 45,000 people at London’s Finsbury Park, Kasabian are ready to bring their high-energy show back to Australian audiences. Sydney is one of several destinations on the band’s 2027 Australian tour, alongside Perth and appearances at festivals in Christchurch, Brisbane and Melbourne.
The Nothing Better Than This tour celebrates Kasabian’s enduring catalogue and their latest musical chapter. Fans attending the Sydney show can look forward to a career-spanning set featuring some of the band’s best-known songs, including “Fire”, “Underdog”, “Shoot The Runner”, “You’re in Love with a Psycho” and “Clubfoot”.
These tracks reflect the band’s distinctive approach to alternative rock, combining energetic guitar anthems with memorable choruses and a sound that draws on a range of musical influences.
Kasabian’s live performances have earned praise from music critics. The Guardian described the band as “a fearsome live act”, while Cherry Rock Magazine noted that “Kasabian’s gigs are as dynamic as ever”. Louder Than War has also encouraged audiences to seize the opportunity to see the band perform live.
For fans, the Sydney concert offers an opportunity to experience the band’s energetic performance style and hear songs that have helped define their career.
Released in September, Act III reached number one on the UK charts, marking Kasabian’s eighth UK number-one album. The record continues the band’s characteristic mix of influences, combining anthemic singalong choruses, big distorted basslines and raw energy.
The album also draws inspiration from hip hop and 1960s psychedelia, adding further elements to the band’s established electro-indie-rock sound.
With Act III marking another major milestone, Kasabian’s return to Australia in 2027 brings together their latest material and the songs that have made them a recognised name in British alternative rock.
The Nothing Better Than This tour will visit Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on 2 March 2027, giving Australian fans the chance to experience Kasabian’s music live as the band returns to the country.
