The Story of KOOZA

KOOZA is told through the eyes of The Innocent, a gentle and curious character searching for his place in the world. His journey begins when a mysterious package arrives while he is flying his kite. From that moment, he is transported into a bizarre but captivating universe overseen by a mischievous Trickster with extraordinary abilities.

Throughout the show, The Innocent meets a colourful cast of characters, each guiding him through an emotional landscape of fear, identity, recognition and courage. The result is a narrative that moves between strength and fragility, turmoil and harmony.

What Makes Cirque du Soleil Unique?

Cirque du Soleil began in Canada in 1984 with a mission to reinvent the circus. Instead of animal acts, the focus shifted to human performance, design and storytelling. Over the last four decades, Cirque du Soleil has grown into a global leader in live entertainment, reaching more than 400 million people across six continents.

Today, the company includes nearly 4,000 performers, technicians and creators from more than 80 nationalities, each committed to pushing the boundaries of contemporary circus.

How Cirque du Soleil KOOZA Is Different

KOOZA strips away spectacle to highlight extraordinary human skill. It blends high-stakes acrobatics with clever clowning, humour and a touch of chaos. The live band mixes 1970s funk, orchestral arrangements and traditional Indian influences to create a soundtrack that drives every moment on stage.

Every element—from the handcrafted costumes to the vibrant technicolour set design—builds a world that feels both intimate and larger than life. The show has been refined over more than a decade of touring, ensuring an experience that is polished, immersive and unforgettable.

KOOZA tours Australia in 2026, with Sydney hosting the final leg of the season.

Getting to the Entertainment Quarter

The Entertainment Quarter is only a 5 minute walk from the Moore Park Light rail stop, on a bus line and it also has its own 6 story carpark should you wish to drive and park with 2 hours free!

LIGHT RAIL
There will be additional Light Rail services available post-event to ensure a smooth departure.
The Light Rail (Moore Park) is a 5-minute walk from the event.

TRAIN
Central Station is a 15-minute walk from the event.

TAXI & RIDE SHARE
Driver Avenue will be closed for the duration of the event.
The best location for taxi drop off/pick up will be Errol Flynn Boulevard.

PARKING
There is a Wilson car park located at the Entertainment Quarter – for more information head to here: Parking
Accessible parking is available at the Wilson carpark.

The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. It’s perfect for your next visit to EQ, a game or a live event at the Sydney Cricket Ground or Allianz Stadium, a gig at The Hordern, or Liberty Hall or a fun night out at one of our great restaurants and bars.
