Certified is a new 5km running race series, kicking off with its very first event at The Entertainment Quarter.
Built around the popular 5km distance, Certified gives runners the chance to challenge themselves on an officially measured course, with the first race launching in November and more events in 2027.
At 5km, it’s a distance that offers something for runners at different stages of their training. Fast enough to test your speed, but also a great distance to work towards if you’re building your running fitness.
And with the first race taking place at EQ, runners can enjoy the atmosphere of one of Sydney’s best-known entertainment precincts before making the most of everything Moore Park has to offer.

Get ready for an early start, a fast 5km challenge and plenty of race-day energy.
